Good morning. It was a freezing start to the day, but the highs will be milder than yesterday, and we'll see relatively toasty afternoon conditions for this time of year as temperatures will hover above seasonal norms and warmth will continue into Christmas Day.
But as the mild temperatures linger, we can't avoid the poor air quality unfortunately. Fine dust continues to choke most regions and it's shaping up to be a dusty Christmas Day for some regions as well. If you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors tomorrow, be sure to monitor dust levels and be prepared.
We are in for mostly sunny skies, afternoon highs will be similar to a few notches higher than Monday. Gyeongju and Gwangju will get up to 12 degrees Celsius, Busan and Jeju topping out at 13 degrees. A dry weather advisory remains in place for eastern regions including Ulsan, Busan and Daegu. Be careful of anything that could spark a fire.
Jeju will see rain from mid-afternoon on Christmas Day, while southern regions will see frequent showers into Sunday. Also do expect big drop in temperature readings on Friday.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
