President Moon Jae-in has asked South Korea's newly-appointed ambassadors to do their best to gather international support for the peace process on the Korean Peninsula.
He said this earlier today at the Blue House while delivering certificates of appointment to fourteen diplomats, including the new ambassasdor to the U.S. Lee Soo-hyuck.
President Moon said all countries are important to Korea, emphasizing the need to expand cooperation with them in all areas, including the economy and culture.
He especially highlighted that their roles are no longer limited to diplomacy but that their noteworthy policies serve as benchmarks in revising Korea's own policies.
