The U.S. ambassador to the UN, Kelly Craft, said Friday each of the UN Security Council members is "very concerned" about the series of "ballistic missile launches" by North Korea.
The Security Council members met behind closed doors on Wednesday to discuss the North's latest test launch of two projectiles.
The French ambassador to the UN is known to have said in that meeting that the North Korea issue may be "the most volatile and dangerous issue that needs to be tackled by the council."
Since May, North Korea has conducted 13 projectile tests.
New activity has been observed at the North's Dongchang-ri missile engine test site, which the regime had promised to dismantle at the inter-Korean summit last September.
