A recent survey shows that, out of all nationalities, South Koreans most prefer to travel alone.
According to a joint global survey by travel firm Klook and research company YouGov on some 21-thousand people, 93-percent of Korean respondents said they have travelled alone before or are thinking about doing so in the future.
That's 17-percent higher than the global average.
For the motivation behind travelling alone, the respondents said it is an opportunity to get away from everyday life or is a type of self-reward.
