The number of people killed due to Typhoon Hagibis, which caused chaos across Japan last weekend, continues to rise.
According to Japanese broadcaster NHK on Monday, two more bodies were found on Monday, raising the death toll to 58.
With 14 people still unaccounted for, 72 people are now listed as dead or missing.
While tens of thousands of rescuers continue to try to locate survivors, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced plans to convene one-thousand retirees from Japan's Self-Defense Forces to provide water supply assistance to evacuees living in temporary shelters.
