President Moon Jae-in will meet with senior Blue House aides for a weekly meeting this afternoon where he's expected to talk about the economy.
An official at the top office says, the president is expected to emphasize the importance to revitalizing the local economy to improve people's livelihoods.
In fact, the key topic during last week's Cabinet meeting was coming up with ways to move the economy forward.
The President had also traveled to Chungcheongnam-do Province las week, where he welcomed Samsung Display's massive investment plan for the display industry.
Eyes are also on whether he will talk about Seoul-Tokyo ties, after Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon confirmed he would attend Japan's new emperor's enthronement ceremony.
