Britain, France and Germany request closed-door UNSC meeting to discuss N. Korea's SLBM test Updated: 2019-10-04 16:42:41 KST

Britain, France and Germany have requested a closed-door meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss North Korea's recent test firing of a ballistic missile.
The countries made the request on Thursday after North Korea announced the successful launch of what it said was a new type of submarine-launched ballistic missile.
The three sides asked for the meeting to take place on Friday, local time.
UN Security Council resolutions ban North Korea from testing ballistic missile technology.
