Over the next two days, Washington's point man on North Korea, Stephen Biegun, will be meeting with senior South Korean officials here in Seoul about the stalled denuclearization talks with the North.
Earlier today, Biegun, met his South Korean counterpart, Lee Do-hoon.
They likely coordinated their strategies on the working-level talks with the North and discussed the regime's recent missile launches.
Biegun will also meet Seoul's Unification Minister Kim Yeon-chul later today.
On his last day in Seoul on Thursday, the U.S. envoy will meet the deputy chief of Seoul's National Security Council, Kim Hyun-chong, before heading to China.
