Millions of Japanese consumers could reportedly face higher heating bills this winter if South Korea bans exports of kerosene to Japan.
Bloomberg reports that 90 percent of the kerosene Japan uses for heat is produced domestically while most of the rest is imported from Korea.
Citing industry sources, the article said an export ban by Seoul could cause heating fuel shortages and price hikes.
