Good morning. It's shaping up to be a sizzling Friday with heat wave alerts in place across much of the country, drink plenty of water and avoid outdoor activities especially in regions under heat wave warnings.
You may want to keep an umbrella nearby again. Central regions and southern inland regions could see passing showers with scattered thunderstorms.
Much of the country continues to sizzle through the night, the high humidity isn't helping. Morning lows in most areas are kicking off above 25 degrees Celsius.
Daily highs will be 33 to 36 degrees Celsius this afternoon. Seoul, Daegu and Daejeon at 35 degrees, Gyeongju reaching 36 degrees.
Steamy heat will dominate the forecast for the weekend. Drink plenty of water and take care of your health.
