South Koreans have been boycotting travel to Japan, and in the city of Osaka the tourism industry is reportedly feeling the heat.
According to Japan's Kyodo News on Wednesday, the number of South Korean tourists visiting Osaka between June and July was down by more than 30 percent on-year.
In fact, at least once municipality in Japan is getting ready to give emergency loans to businesses affected by the loss of South Korean tourists.
Officials representing Tottori Prefecture have said they will give financial support to companies to help them weather the expected impact.
