Good morning. Depending on where you are today, you'll need an umbrella or be well prepared for searing heat. Northern parts of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do Provinces are seeing showers at the moment and rain clouds will gradually spread to the capital and Chungcheong-do Provinces during the day, dropping heavy rain. Southern regions will see passing showers for most of the day.
Rain for the upper regions will bring some relief from the heat. A heat wave advisory has been lifted in Seoul and other rain-affected areas, but the rest of the country will be dealing with some intense heat. A heat wave warning remains in place for Daegu and parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsang-do Provinces.
Gangneung had a super tropical night again as overnight lows were a sweltering 29.7 degrees Celsius. It's a sultry start to the day there, as you'd expect.
Daily highs will range between 29 and 35 degrees Celsius. So have sunblock or rain gear ready for your Wednesday, depending on where you are.
