Good morning. Heat wave alerts are forecasting a sizzling day. Heat wave advisories have been upgraded to warnings for the east coast and many southern provinces with an expected high of above 35 degrees Celsius, while the rest are under heat advisories, including Seoul.
Due to atmospheric instability, northern parts of Gyeonggi-do Province are seeing showers, and rain clouds could drop passing showers on the capital and Chungcheong-buk do Province until this afternoon so have a small umbrella handy on your way out.
Most parts had tropical nights, Gangneung had a super tropical night as overnight lows were a sweltering 28.4 degrees Celsius. It's a warm and humid start to the day.
Daily highs will be in the thirties in most regions, brace for strong heat and be careful of heat stroke.
The central region will see heavy rain on Wednesday afternoon into late at night, while temperatures will on the scorching side.
