Showers have been coming down, making the weather very humid, but it also brought the heat down, meaning most of the heatwave alerts have been lifted.
Also we are expecting more monsoon rain in the western provinces starting tonight. The rain will move towards the northern provinces by tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the island of Jeju will remain under cloudy skies.
The upper half of the country is expected to get the most amount of precipitation this time, especially the southern parts of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do provinces, with some 400 millimeters of precipitation or even more expected to fall through the weekend.
Temperatures won't drop significantly during the night, with most of the nation waking up to at least 24 degrees Celsius.
As for the daily highs, Seoul will reach 29 degrees, while Daegu and Gyeongju remain steamy.
During the rain, temperatures won't rise significantly, which will drag the daily highs a couple of notches down and keep tropical nights off the weather forecast at least for now.
