Ryu Hyun-jin throws 1 scoreless inning in historic MLB All-Star Game start Updated: 2019-07-10 16:10:10 KST

LA Dodgers pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin has made history, becoming the first South Korean pitcher to start a MLB All-Star Game.
In Cleveland Tuesday, representing the National League team, Ryu threw one scoreless inning and allowed just one hit to the first batter, George Springer of the Houston Astros.
Ryu finished the first half of the season with a record of ten-and-two, and a league-leading earned run average of 1.7-3.
And he's just the third South Korean pitcher to be chosen for the All-Star Game, following Park Chan-ho in 2001 and Kim Byung-hyun, in 2002.
