President Moon and Denmark's Crown Prince discussed ways to deepen bilateral relations, as the two sides celebrate 60 years of diplomatic ties.
He thanked Prince Frederik for visiting Korea with his business and cultural delegations, expressing hope the people of both countries will form closer connections.
The Prince echoed President Moon's sentiment, saying the two nations have been cooperating on sustainable development for more than eight years.
He hopes meetings like this can help expand the initiative.
During their three-day state visit, the prince and his wife Princess Mary are also scheduled to visit the demilitarized zone, and meet with Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon as well as Danish business leaders in Korea.
