Construction spotted at N. Korea's Sohae Satellite Launching Station: 38 North Updated: 2019-05-17 07:22:54 KST

Low levels of activity -- presumably repair work -- has been spotted at North Korea's Sohae Satellite Launching Station.
The U.S.-based monitoring website 38 North reported Thursday that construction of new workshops or engineering areas were first observed at the Horizontal Assembly Building in the station in September of last year.
The interior work may be ongoing, since the roofs appear to have been completed in April.
No new activity has been observed at the engine test stand or the launch pad since March.
