South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon has asked the speaker of Kuwait's legislature to consider South Korea for contracts in the country's economic projects.
Lee is in Kuwait as part of an eleven-day tour of the Middle East and South America.
The speaker said his National Assembly is working to make that happen, adding the majority of lawmakers support cooperation with South Korea.
Lee also visited local oil refineries partially built by South Korea's firms.
Colombia is the next stop on Lee's tour, followed by Ecuador.
