U.S. Forces Korea conducted an exercise last week involving a THAAD missile defense battery originally deployed to fend off attacks from North Korea.
According to a picture on the Facebook page of the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade the week-long exercise started last Monday.
It was at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do Province and not at the missile defense base in Seongju.
An official from U.S. Forces Korea says it was the exercise in mounting missiles on the launcher.
