South Korea's first couple also met at the top office with representatives of the nation's biggest charitable organizations to encourage them and to cultivate a culture of donation in light of the holiday season.
According to Cheong Wa Dae, 29 people were invited from 15 organizations, including the Salvation Army, the Korean Red Cross, World Vision and UNICEF.
Praising their organizations' hard work, President Moon said they embody the very spirit of giving and sharing, and pledged that he himself would put all his efforts into making South Korea a country in which everybody can prosper together.
