S. Korea's intel agency says no decision yet on N. Korean leader's Seoul visit Updated: 2018-12-05 14:47:50 KST

There's been growing speculation that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could visit Seoul within this month.
However, the nation's intel agency says, nothing has been decided on that trip.
During a parliamentary briefing today, the National Intelligence Service explained the matter is linked to talks between Pyeongyang and Washington, so it depends on the progress there.
The agency also confirmed that contrary to some media reports, there was no meeting in Panmunjeom on Monday between the head of the CIA's Korea Mission Center, Andrew Kim, and the North's pointman on U.S. dialogue: Kim Yong-chol.
The NIS said there were no plans to meet in the first place
It added that they are closely communicating with the CIA about which North Korean officials they are meeting and about Washington's stance.
