The number of South Korean Facebook users is decreasing.
According to web analytics website 'StatCounter', Facebook's market share based on pageviews has fallen from 65-percent in September last year to 23-percent in the same month of this year.
Facebook's global market share has fallen by about 20-percent over the same period.
The total amount of time Koreans spent on Facebook also dropped by 29-percent from last year, while the amount of time they spent on video-sharing site Youtube increased, according to media research group “Nielsen KoreanClick."
Facebook is also facing criticism following a data leak involving the accounts of South Koreans.
