Now we turn to our Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates. Michelle, heatwaves are sweeping the nation, and now we've also got an alert in Seoul.
That's right, Daniel, the heatwaves are spreading. Advisories were issued today in the central region, including Seoul. The heat in some of the southern regions such as Daejeon, Gwangju, and Busan has intensified and strengthened into a warning.
Tomorrow the mercury will rise faster and higher than today under the scorching sun, while other cities in Northeast Asia will get thunderstorms but without rain.
Tomorrow morning, most of the nation including Seoul can expect temperatures of 24 degrees Celsius, Jeju starts at 25.
During the day, it's going to be blistering hot, hitting 32 in Seoul, while Gwangju and Daegu reach 34 degrees.
For the time being there is no noticeable rain to cool us off, so we are expecting a long string of unbearably hot weather. Also, Seoul will start to experience tropical nights, which is when the temperature doesn't drop below 25 degrees.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
