S. Korea, U.S. raise security posture to prevent terror during Olympics Updated: 2018-01-14 09:40:27 KST

South Korea and the United States are raising their security readiness to prevent any terror attacks during the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
South Korean government sources say the two countries' security institutions are sharing profiles of persons with terror connections to block their entry into South Korea and the U.S. is providing technological support.
Counter-terrorism institutions have inspected the security of Olympic facilities in PyeongChang and will continue to do so throughout the Games.
They're also prepping for possible cyber attacks and have conducted drills to dispose of explosive materials.
