U.S. lawmakers submit resolution calling on S. Korea-U.S. to send message to N. Korea Updated: 2017-11-11 09:26:46 KST

U.S. lawmakers have submitted a resolution to the House of Representatives calling on South Korea and the U.S. to send a clear message to North Korea over its nuclear weapons program.
The resolution urges South Korea and the U.S. to take the opportunity of President Trump's state visit to Seoul earlier this week by sending a louder and clearer message to Pyongyang.
The resolution says any provocations by North Korea to destabilize the region will be met with a resolute response by the South Korea-U.S. combined forces.
The resolution also urges North Korea to take steps in the right direction as Seoul, Washington and the international community are ready to present a brighter future to North Korea.
