Arrest Warrant for a former defense minister over possible intervention in politics Updated: 2017-11-10 18:02:28 KST

An arrest warrant could be issued for an ex-Defense chief for allegedly meddling in politics while in office.
Seoul Central District Court will announce its decision late Friday night.
Kim Kwan-jin is said to have been involved in the National Security Council and the Cyberwarfare Command's online activities to sway public opinion in favor of the Lee Myung-bak government.
The former minister admitted that Lee ordered him to hire people that support the administration.
The measures are in line with the Moon administration's pursuit of reforms to "eliminate ills" that have accumulated over the years but the previous governments argues such acts are political retribution.
