BMW Korea pulls 7 models from market due to document errors Updated: 2017-11-10 10:04:22 KST

BMW Korea has suspended sales of seven models amid a government probe into the automaker's failure to submit certification documents.
This comes after the Korea Customs Service found that BMW did not submit additional documents to report a change of parts in models, including the BMW M4 Convertible and MINI Cooper S,… between 2012 and early 2015.
The environment ministry will impose a penalty of nearly 55 million U.S. dollars on the German carmaker.
According to a company spokesman, the sales suspension has nothing to do with the quality of the seven models and owners can continue to drive them without any safety concerns.
