President Moon heads to Vietnam, bilateral summit with China's Xi Jinping Updated: 2017-11-10 12:06:49 KST

Wrapping up his state visit in Indonesia, President Moon Jae-in left Jakarta this morning heading to the next stop of his eight-day tour, Danang, Vietnam.
For the next two days, President Moon will attend the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum, along with officials and leaders from 20 other member economies.
And on the sidelines, President Moon is expected to have a bilateral summit with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.
This will be the first meeting between the two since Seoul and Beijing issued a joint statement in an effort to normalize their bilateral relationship after months of tension over South Korea's deployment of the U.S. THAAD missile defense system.
