Wall Street dropped on Thursday, pushed down by losses for Apple and other tech firms as investors turned their focus to a U.S. Senate Republican plan that could potentially delay corporate tax cuts.
The Dow Jones finished with a triple-digit loss-- shedding 101.4-2 points, at 23,461.9-4.
The S&P 500 pulled back zero.4 percent to 2,584.6-2 with industrials as the leading decliner.
The Nasdaq also lagged, losing about zero.6 percent to 67-50.
Here in Korea, shares finished nearly flat on Thursday-- as many decided to take a wait-and-see approach over Washington's anticipated tax reforms, despite rallies on Wall Street.
The benchmark KOSPI edged down percent at 2,550.5-7 and the local currency also closed flat against the greenback.
