A local civic group has created postcards depicting Korea's easternmost Dokdo Island and will start distributing them next week.
They call themselves VANK, which stands for Voluntary Agency Network of Korea, and are known mainly for their activities promoting information about Korea throughout the world.
The group plan to hand out more than 110-thousand postcards to foreigners and teachers working at Korean language schools across the world.
Each set consists of 14 postcards with different landscapes in the traditional Korean style.
VANK plans to also promote Dokdo online by sharing the digital version on social media.
