Malaysian police name four North Korean suspects in Kim Jong-nam murder trial Updated: 2017-11-07 05:44:09 KST

Malaysian police have revealed the four men suspected of plotting to murder the North Korean leader's half-brother were in fact North Koreans.
Their names were disclosed at a trial of two Southeast Asian women accused of killing Kim Jong-nam at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in February.
This goes against the regime's claim that it had no reason to kill the estranged half-brother of Kim Jong-un, and that the man who was murdered was an ordinary North Korean citizen, not Kim Jong-nam.
The murder sparked a furious row between North Korea and Malaysia, with South Korea blaming Pyongyang for ordering Kim Jong-nam's murder.
