More than half of foreigners visit Korea after watching Hallyu content: poll Updated: 2017-11-02 11:52:17 KST

More than half the foreign tourists to South Korea come after watching 'Hallyu' or Korean Wave content.
This according to a local survey of around three-thousand people from eight countries, including China, Japan, and the United States.
The poll, conducted by the Korean Tourism Organization, showed around 56 percent of respondents chose to visit South Korea after watching Korean dramas or films.
Just under 40-percent said it was after watching travel programs on TV.
