IMF warns sustainability of G20 growth is ‘not guaranteed’ Updated: 2017-10-07 12:14:19 KST

The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank will convene annual meetings next week with member states, and as a preview the IMF has released a report on the health of the world's largest economies.
In the report released Friday, the IMF calls on G20 countries to address slowing growth and productivity, saying the global recovery is not guaranteed to continue.
It added that problems like sovereign debt persist with potential growth rates in more than half of the G20 economies estimated at two percent or lower
The report said productivity remains low and called for collective action within the G20 to spur growth.
