U.S. President Donald Trump says his country will use all means necessary to counter North Korea's threats.
At a meeting with senior military officials Thursday, he discussed a range of security issues including Pyongyang and the Iran nuclear deal.
Trump emphasized that Washington's ultimate goal is North Korea's denuclearization, saying the U.S. will do what it must to protect itself and its allies from Pyongyang's threats.
Trump left journalists puzzled after the meeting, telling them they're witnessing the "calm before the storm," but he didn't elaborate and the White House hasn't clarified what he meant.
Some say it could be related to either Iran or North Korea.
