The United States has reaffirmed there will be NO talks with North Korea on the regime's nuclear program.
At a regular press briefing on Monday, White House Press Secretary said the U.S. has been clear that now is NOT the time for talks.
She said the only conversations to have taken place or would take place are on bringing back detained Americans.
This comes after Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Saturday, that the U.S. WAS directly communicating with North Korea on its nuclear and missile programs, but that Pyongyang had shown no interest in talks.
President Trump, meanwhile, tweeted that Tillerson was wasting his time trying to negotiate with North Korea.
