Let's start with the talks between the top security advisors of South Korea and the United States.
South Korea's Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae says National Security Office Chief, Chung Eui-yong, and U.S. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster spoke over the phone this morning.
Officials say they discussed the current security situation on the Korean peninsula and in the region, as tension escalates due to Pyongyang's recent provocations.
Chung and McMaster also shared their thoughts on future measures both countries could take to deter such threats.
The advisers reaffirmed that they will closely and transparently cooperate with each another on all steps taken to ensure the security and safety of both nations and their people.
