The UK and the European Union have officially launched negotiations on their divorce.
Brexit Secretary David Davis arrived in Brussels on Monday to hold talks with the EU's chief negotiator Michel Barnier.
The meeting comes a year after the UK voted in a referendum to leave the EU.
Davis said he hopes the talks would produce a "deep and special partnership" with the European bloc, while his counterpart Barnier said he hoped they could agree a format and timetable.
The UK will officially leave the EU on March 30th, 2019.
