Korea's political parties have reacted to the short, perhaps a bit too short, message President Park offered before entering the prosecutor's office.
The main opposition Democratic Party of Korea expressed its disappointment that she didn't offer a sincere apology to the public.. with its floor leader urging Park to tell the truth.
The minor opposition People's Party said the investigation should be stringent and follow the rule of law.
The Liberty Korea Party, which still counts Park as a member, expressed its regret over what it called "a national tragedy."
It called for a fair investigation and renewed its call to revise the Constitution in order to reduce the current power of Korea's presidency.
