A new rule has come into force starting today banning the use of disposable plastic cups inside restaurants and cafes.
Stores can only give customers plastic cups when they want to get their drink to go.
If a customer is given a disposable cup without having been asked, the store will be fined up to about 18-hundred U.S. dollars.
Random inspections by local governments will be conducted to enforce that law.
It will be considered a violation also, if a store doesn't have enough multiple-use cups for its size.
